How to create filter on gmail

Gmail’s filters allow you to manage the flow of incoming messages. Using the filters, you can automatically label, archive, delete, star, or forward your mail, even keep it out of Spam — all are based on the combination of keywords, sender or/and recipient addresses and much more.

Example: kanchilug@freelists.org

To create a filter:

Step 1: Click Create a filter (next to the Search the Web button) at the top of any Gmail page

Step 2: You can get this window after click a filter

Step 3: Now you can see Has the words in the right side of the window, here  i give kanchilug@freelists.org

after that  Click the Next Step.

Step 4: You get the window like that.

Step 5: In that window check the Skip the inbox for skip form you inbox.

Step 6: And Check the Apply the label

And choose label in that you get an option New label click that  you get the window like that

Step 7: And give the name for you label and click ok.

Step 8: And also check Also apply filter for XX conversation below for your old mail come to that label now and press create filter….

Step 9: After you get the link in you filters like this…
